NRA Instructor Pistol Course - DEPOSIT ONLY

This is an Instructor Level Course where you become certified to teach using the policies & procedures of the NRA training department. This is a 16+ hour/two day course. The course includes Basic Instructor Training (BIT), NRA First Steps Pistol & NRA Basic Pistol Instructor.

NRA Instructor Pistol Shooting Course ONLY


It is required that this pre-course range assessment be completed prior to attending the Pistol Instructor Course.

PRE-COURSE RANGE ASSESSMENT

Venue- Range

A total assessment score minimum of 80% is necessary in order to attend an Instructor course

· Complete exam and score at least 90%

· Safely load and unload all available demonstration firearms, covering at least:

· A revolver

· A semi-auto pistol

· Complete pistol shooting exercises as follows:

· Two-handed standing position

· One-handed standing position

· Random (TC choice) position

· Must shoot 5 rounds into a 4" circle from 10', 15' & 20'. Must shoot 10 rounds into a 10" circle from 45'

NRA Rifle BASIC Shooting Course - Deposit

Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development.

NRA Rifle BASIC Shooting Course - Full Payment

Students learn NRA’s rules for safe gun handling; rifle parts and operation; ammunition; shooting fundamentals; range rules; shooting from the bench rest position, and two handed standing positions; cleaning the rifle; and continued opportunities for skill development.

This is an Instructor Level Course where you become certified to teach using the policies & procedures of the NRA training department. This is a two day course. The course includes NRA Basic Rifle Shooting and NRA Basic Rifle Shooting INSTRUCTOR. You MUST have completed the, (BIT) Basic Instructor Training class before being eligible for the Instructor course.

This course is nine hours long and is conducted in a classroom and at a shooting facility. Range Safety Officer candidates will learn roles and responsibilities of an RSO; Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); range inspection; range rules; range briefings; emergency procedures; and firearm stoppages and malfunctions. Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure, an Instructor Application/Course Evaluation form.
